Ageing & Longevity: general description

Aims

Ageing & Longevity (ISSN 2709-0205) is an open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies in fundamental and clinical gerontology. The journal publishes reviews, regular research papers, short communications, conference reports and commentaries. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. We also encourage the publication of timely reviews and commentaries on topics of interest to the gerontological community and feature highlights from the recent developments.

Scope and Subject Areas

 Ageing & Longevity is a multidisciplinary open-access journal that aims to advance theoretical gerontology through translational bridge link basic knowledge with clinical practice and geriatrics.

 Ageing & Longevity welcomes submissions on all aspects of theoretical, clinical, social and epidemiological gerontology. We welcome studies on all levels of organisation from molecular to organismic, similarly we welcome all topes of clinical research and clinical experience including case reports.

 Ageing & Longevity aims at establishing a platform for research into age-dependent diseases negrating basic studies with clinical practice .
